Weird data from Texas. Many counties only show early voting (Travis and Harris).

Stat Man - Chuck Todd seems to be the guy to watch (if you can suffer through Tweety). Anyway, he said Houston, Dallas and Austin are only reporting 1-4% so Obama's totals will definitely creep up.
Also, watch the caucuses.
ps -
Can't stand watching Tweety spit all over his chin. Glad I'm not sitting next to him. ;-)
I can see you in the morning
When you go to school
Don't forget our books,
You know you've got to learn the golden rule.
Teacher tells you
Stop your play and go on with your work,
And be like Johnnie Toogood.
Don't you know he never shrinks, he's coming
along
After school is over
Your playing in the park,
Don't be out too late
Don't let it get too dark.
They tell you not to hang around
And learn what life's about
And grow up just like them,
Won't let you work it out
And you're full of doubt
Maybe I'm mistaken
Expecting you to fight
Or maybe I'm just crazy
I don't know wrong from right. But while I'm
still living
I've just got this to say
It's always up to you, if you want to be that,
Want to see that, want to see it that way.
Don't do this and don't do that
What are they tryin' to do ?
Make a good boy of you,
Do they know where it's at?
Don't criticise they're old and wise
Do as they tell you to,
Don't want the devil to,
Come and pull out your eyes.
You're coming along
CNN'S TX exit polls:
http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/primari...
wow, Obama took the majority of the very religious and the majority of the not religious.
hil won ohio but obama won delegates 2 to 1, how did that happen. nite hillary. you are so dissapointing. you lost it and you just lost it.
As I have watched Hillary, and her "crowds"
I just don't sense passion
I smell more of Kerry in 2004.
But Hillary's speechwriter does listen ...
...even though it is in comparison to Obama - contrived.
and edwards will endorse tomorrow? wtf ? who cares now? just go home.
My guess is that Obama has planned to save his big ammo for after these primaries in the eventuality the clintons win them, as polls have indicated possible and even likely.
It will really blunt Hillary's storyline of a big comeback if Obama announces that he raised $50-70M in Feb., picks up 50 superdels, and gets endorsements from Edwards and Richardson.
And it's the smart thing to do since such news probably wouldn't have had much effect of today's outcomes anyway if released earlier.
CNN Texas Exit polls' gender and maturity levels look good for HRC
I can't listen to Hillary the Harpy. Sorry if that's cheeky but she won Ohio with fear and uber negativity. I'm sick of it and don't want any more of it...
Just shut off the TV. Can't stand to listen to Clinton's "victory" speech. She looks like the cat that ate the canary.
Listen, you all, no one "wins" in the states. they get delegates. Hill won ohio and obama got 50% more delegates. don't you get it? she is toast.
the delegates matter. get some brain power going.
Teenager doing her homework just piped up that the crowd is shouting *Yes, she can* LOL
HA HA NO I CANT SAID IT, THE HELL I WONT TOLD YA! LOL GOD PEOPLE ITS NOT TO LATE TO WAKE UP!I WAS ONCE BLIND BUT NOW I SEE!!!!!!!!!! “There are those who look at things the way they are, and ask why... I dream of things that never were, and ask why not?” BOBBY KENNEDY,
"It will really blunt Hillary's storyline of a big comeback if Obama announces that he raised $50-70M in Feb."
No sale.
Votes and states decide who goes to the White House.
Dems better weigh blind faith against who has won the big blues
in this primary season.
Let me see, bill screws every woman and hillary screws the sorry poor voters. what is the difference? she is a loser like her husband.
she is pathetic.
It will really blunt Hillary's storyline of a big comeback if Obama announces that he raised $50-70M in Feb., picks up 50 superdels, and gets endorsements from Edwards and Richardson.

Thanks Sitka-- I needed that so i can sleep a little better tonight
I want to know that Obama can regain his momentum. Hate to think Hillary got hers from being so mean spirited and I really don't want Obama to go that road
The big blues? How 'bout Virginia, Colorado, Missouri, Illinois and I know i'm forgetting another *big* state.
Paine, watch the camera shots on the rallies.
When they cover an Obama rally they usually show the huge crowd there. When they cover a Hill rally they keep the camera stationary and pointed at her.
I've wondered if in some of these rallies, 70% of the crowd is actually positioned behind her, for effect.
If she actually did lose the delegate count in Ohio, yes, she is toast and even she knows that.
-- volney
obama has the delegates tonite, even in ohio. so hillary, go home. and in texas. hillary is toast.
at least you have bill to go home to. how sad is that.
Ronald wrote "Dems better weigh blind faith against who has won the big blues in this primary season."
The big blues winners: Terry McAuliffe, James Carville and Harold Ford. I could be converted into a Nader supporter with this team.
"are you a son of Texas?
Do you peopel really like Hillary?"
1. Nope, deep red of Georgia
2. I like Hillary.
Well "red" Cloud,
I am not afraid of Hillary Clinton.
Yet, my hopes and aspirations are with Barack Obama
who is now speaking.
So, excuse me.
Please.
Glad to see lindab "gets it."
Enough of the schizoid emoting.
Totals won't be in until tomorrow.
Chill--use your brains, indeedy.
Rinse...lather...repeat:
ONLY delegates matter.
A couple of things to note about Obama's speech....
Even though The Clintons are the projected winner of OH, and TX is still too close to call, Obama is speaking after Hillary -- the traditional practice of the victor. Also, the first thing he did was to congratulate her, something she's rarely if ever done after his wins.
Hillary's last hurrah?
Let me see, the delegates are allocated by cong. district and who voted in the last election. so those who sat on their arses and did not vote, don't count.
so in a primary vote, the delegates matter.
hillary is toast. i wanted her at first but she showed her cards, like bill, they are one and the same.
hmm. hill has been trashing obama and calling him osama and saying she takes him at his word he is not muslim..
can I take you at your word that you voted for the war in iraq?
No sale.
Votes and states decide who goes to the White House.
In that case, tell The Clintons to drop out tomorrow since Hillary doesn't stand a Bush's chance in heaven of winning the most of either.
hillary won ohio but lost the delegate count. she gets the cotton candy but has to go home to ...bill
In October, 2002, a few days before the U.S. Senate voted on the Joint Resolution to Authorize the Use of United States Armed Forces Against Iraq,
...about 75 senators were told in closed session that Saddam Hussein had the means of attacking the eastern seaboard of the U.S. with biological or chemical weapons delivered by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).[44]
Clinton’s speech seemed so parochial, little and nasty compared to Obama’s speech. She has no grace.

Fox is so stupid, they just cut off Obama's speach when it was exactly the same length as Fox, because it was fair and balanced.

More Americans turning to Web for news
Reuter
February 29, 2008
Nearly 70 percent of Americans believe traditional journalism is out of touch, and nearly half are turning to the Internet to get their news, according to a new survey.
While most people think journalism is important to the quality of life, 64 percent are dissatisfied with the quality of journalism in their communities, a We Media/Zogby Interactive online poll showed.
“That’s a really encouraging reflection of people who care a) about journalism and b) understand that it makes a difference to their lives,” said Andrew Nachison, of iFOCOS, a Virginia-based think tank which organized a forum in Miami where the findings were presented.
t
Nearly half of the 1,979 people who responded to the survey said their primary source of news and information is the Internet, up from 40 percent just a year ago. Less than one third use television to get their news, while 11 percent turn to radio and 10 percent to newspapers.

will follow the Bush course.
Bush said the war would cost

but it will but $3-5Trillion
Obama's victories have come in caucuses, reds, and blues that were in the weekly spotlight.
In the big, simultaneous, nationwide battles (Texas pending) Hillary has beat him.
Everybody votes in November.
Magic fades.

Aside from being a really great album, Blind Faith is believing that TheClinton's can win the nomination any way short of character assassination, skullduggery, and the subversion of democracy.
As for the "big blues," The Democratic nominee, whomever, will win those. It's strength in the "rotten reds" that will win the presidency for Democrats; and that's where Obama has shown more than The Clintons.
Magic fades.
Steel prevails.

Obama's victories have come in caucuses, reds, and blues that were in the weekly spotlight.
I loathe caucuses, but Obama's wins show that he and his campaign are better at inspiring, organizing, and turning out voters.
Where I was most wrong in all this is that I expected The Clinton machine to dominate the caucuses; but it turned out to be made of paper. Hillary's only strength has ever been name recognition.
In the big, simultaneous, nationwide battles (Texas pending) Hillary has beat him.
You conveniently forget that Obama has not only won more states than The Clintons, but more votes and delegates as well. It's called "democracy."
Everybody votes in November.
You're making Obama's case since he appeals to GOPs and Indy's more than The Clintons do -- especially in states Hillary has no chance of winning.
...about 75 senators were told in closed session that Saddam Hussein had the means of attacking the eastern seaboard of the U.S. with biological or chemical weapons delivered by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).[44]
The session must not have been very closed since I heard the same lies on the news. And unlike those senators, I wasn't stupid, craven, or corrupt enough to believe a word of it.
I heard a caucus worker from TX saying earlier today that it might be 2 or 3 days before the delegates are awarded, giving HRC the chance to enjoy any 'win' she might have for a bit before the truth in delegates comes out. perhaps that's why he's lined up the big guns for tomorrow - steal the thunder and then, SLAM, rake in the delegates, too?!
Here is the key to Texas:
http://enr.sos.state.tx.us/enr/mar04_136_county100.htm
For some reason there is a lot of votes in Harris county (Houston).
Hi everyone :)
Jo I like your way of thinking - hope you're right!
November 08
Hillary holds Gore - Kerry States
Florida - Ohio - Arkansas put her in the White House
Texas and Rocky Mountain states are in play.
McCain retires to Arizona.
Domestic issues and the economy are taken care of.
Obama is saved from losing to McCain or winning only
to ride the economy into the tank and turning it over to
who knows what repug in 2012.
Why can't Obama close the deal?
All these caucus victories, 12 or so victories in a row, but still can't close the deal. That's troubling.
Sitka said,
"Hillary's only strength has ever been name recognition."
You're right, and I don't know why it hasn't been said before. Spot on.

Night folks.
@12:30am EST
Some polls in Harris County just closed within a half an hour. Lines, lines, lines. Good news for Obama.
Now they've started reporting the caucuses... it's a net 10% lead for Barack!
The (C) are the caucuses and the (P) are the primaries...
Reporting TX (C) 5%
Obama 56% Clinton 44%
Reporting TX (P) 66%
Clinton 50% Obama 48%
For our naysayer here tonight: from DKos - these are blue state wins.
Obama:
WA, HI, MN, WI, IL, ME, CT, MD, DE, VT
Hillary:
CA, MA, NY, RI, NJ,
From DK: Here's TX:
Harris 3.6mn 33% in, 60% Obama
Dallas 2.3mn 71% in, 62% Obama
Tarrant 1.6mn 48% in, 55% Obama
Bexar 1.5mn 55% in, 56% HRC
Travis 900K 78% in, 64% Obama
El Paso 750K 28% in, 70% HRC
Hidalgo 675K 47% in, 73% HRC
Collin 600K 91% in, 57% Obama
Denton 500K 56% in, 56% Obama
Fort Bend 450K 70% in, 63% Obama
Montgomery 380K 96% in, 56% HRC
Cameron 380K 40% in, 68% HRC
Webb 220K 1% in, 77% HRC
Hillary holds Gore - Kerry States
Florida - Ohio - Arkansas put her in the White House
Texas and Rocky Mountain states are in play.
That kind of DLC disinspired thinking led to two losses to the biggest buffoon ever to seek the presidency.
Obama is saved from losing to McCain or winning only to ride the economy into the tank and turning it over to who knows what repug in 2012.
Congratulations! You win the prize for most desperate, dispirited, and delusional reason to continue supporting The Clintons.
ME's caucus put Obama over the top in delegates for the first time, thanks.
VT's delegates are also solid (wide margin). We're purple, not blue.
23% Bach. degrees, & poor/working class *older* whiteys.
"Bigger" isn't necessarily better. 100 pennies equals one dollar.
Obama's still ahead in delegates; and that's what matters.
Hillary pulls less educated older married white (racist) TX women (not healthy).
Read a freakin' book, already.
Big Dog's NAFTA's killed both states; and they support DLC red phone propaganda?
Keep counting delegates, folks. Stop "emoting."
Stat Man: Your thoughts on the numbers I just posted? Looks like Obama will take Texas.
No matter what happens in the Dem primaries for Obama and Clinton, whether it goes to convention or not, there is one consolation.....their opponent will be a Republican.
