New Hampshire's House Resolution 24, an effort to commence impeachment procedures in the US Congress is part of a history making effort originating from Thomas Jefferson's Manual, Sec 603, and for the People's Voice to be heard, in a call for action

The New Hampshire House of Representative's "full" House Vote is scheduled tentatively in this week's New Hampshire House Session. The exact date and time is yet to be determined, but it's likely the vote will either be Wednesday, March 5th or March 12th. The House is in regular session on Wednesdays, but may add a day in the case of a full schedule.

New Hampshire is the best state to start this. Make a call to your state Representative and ask them to vote yes on HR 24

Obama Camp. Violations/Disenfranchisement in OH (Breaking)

Just breaking out of Ohio:

Courtesy of Marc Ambinder the Obama campaign has sent poll monitors out to
challenge Clinton voters across Ohio who are not properly credentialed.

They are only carrying a letter from Paul Tewes, Obama's Ohio State
Director. It turns out that you need to be registered with a local judge
to be "monitoring" polls.

From the Secretary of State's office:

To be allowed access to a polling location an observer must be duly
appointed as an official observer and have an official observer
certificate issued pursuant to R.C. 3505.21, which in part states:
"Observers appointed to a precinct may file their certificates of
appointment with the presiding judge of the precinct at the meeting on the
evening prior to the election, or with the presiding judge of the precinct
on the day of the election." Someone who wants to observe may present the
attached letter in addition to the official observer certificate, but they
must have the official observer certificate to legally gain entry.

These workers who are not legally in the polling locations are being
thrown out by the Democratic Secretary of State.

The tactic is being compared to what the Ohio Republicans did in 2004.
Since when did Democrats have to worry about other Democrats aggressively
disenfranchising our core voters?

You Think Hillary Said What?

by Todd Beeton, Tue Mar 04, 2008 at 02:05:22 PM EST

The reality-based community died a little bit last night when two diaries on the dailyKos rec list, not to mention post after post around the blogosphere, asserted that (or at best wondered whether) Hillary Clinton "picks McCain over Obama." The concern trolling over Hillary Clinton's true partisan allegiances were based on a response she made to reporters about whether she or Obama would be best to go up against John McCain. Sure, if you splice the video just so, as JEDReport did in his ridiculously manipulative video, it sure looks bad, but in the full context, imagine that!, while clumsy to be sure, her response is revealed to be merely the same electability argument she's been advancing in various forms since McCain became the presumptive GOP nominee.

Obama Plans to Install Republicans in His Administration

Sarah Baxter
Times Online
March 2, 2008

Obama is hoping to appoint cross-party figures to his cabinet such as Chuck Hagel, the Republican senator for Nebraska and an opponent of the Iraq war, and Richard Lugar, leader of the Republicans on the Senate foreign relations committee.

As Barack Obama enters the final stages of the fight for the Democratic presidential nomination, he is preparing to detach the core voters of John McCain, the likely Republican nominee, with the same ruthless determination with which he has peeled off Hillary Clinton’s supporters.

The scene is set for a tussle between the two candidates for the support of some of the sharpest and most independent minds in politics. Obama is hoping to appoint cross-party figures to his cabinet such as Chuck Hagel, the Republican senator for Nebraska and an opponent of the Iraq war, and Richard Lugar, leader of the Republicans on the Senate foreign relations committee.

Senior advisers confirmed that Hagel, a highly decorated Vietnam war veteran and one of McCain’s closest friends in the Senate, was considered an ideal candidate for defence secretary. Some regard the outspoken Republican as a possible vice-presidential nominee although that might be regarded as a “stretch”.

Asked about his choice of cabinet last week, Obama told The Sunday Times: “Chuck Hagel is a great friend of mine and I respect him very much,” although he was wary of appearing as though he was already choosing the White House curtains. But after winning 11 primary contests in a row after Super Tuesday, he is ready to elbow Clinton off the stage.

if Barack Obama had been asked to compare Hillary and John on any issue he would have made her look good  - he would not throw another dem under the bus as she has.  she warned us when she annonced her candidacy - she's in it to win it, and apparently nothing will stop her from taking her opponent down with her.  it's very reminiscent of how Dean was treated by Hill and the dlc boys.

Dirty Tricks in Texas and Ohio?

I'm receiving reports that contrary to Texas Democratic party caucus rules that preclude registration forms from being submitted before either 7:15 pm or the last vote at a precinct has been cast, Obama volunteers are handing out the forms at precincts today and asking people to fill them in and then collecting them. For Obama to submit the forms on the voters' behalf without the voter physically being present at the caucus would violate the rules.

The rules state:

Participants may NOT begin signing in until the precinct convention has been called to order. The call to order may not occur until 7:15 p.m. OR whenever the last voter finishes voting at that polling location whichever is later. If, after the convention has been called to order and participants have signed in, any participant who wishes to leave may do so, and their sign in WILL count toward the delegate allocation for each candidate. Sign-In ends when the last person present waiting to sign in has done so.

If any Texas voter has witnessed this, feel free to let me know.

I can't wait until today is over with so we can all (hopefully) stop attacking each other for our differences and remember that we have a common enemy and common goals. Peace.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I wish we would have thought of passing them out and collecting them as people walked in the door at my precinct so the forms were already filled in. It would have lessened the logjam as the throngs crowded the entryway. still have to check ID's just quicker
On the other hand, the outcome may make the Clintions and their minions feel that her rovian strategy was successful, in which case expect them to slice the baloney even thicker.
Republicans heeding Rush Limbaugh's call to vote for HillaryBy Ed Richter
Staff Writer
Tuesday, March 04, 2008
MIDDLETOWN — Republican voters in the Middletown area appear to be heeding radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh's call for them to cast their ballot for Democrat Hillary Clinton in the March 4 primary election.
Several precinct judges in Middletown and Franklin Twp. said they've seen a "larger than usual" number of Republicans switching over to Democratic ballots. With Republican presidential candidate John McCain having all but sewn up the GOP nomination, Limbaugh urged Republican voters to cast their ballots for Clinton. His reason: To bloody up Barack Obama politically.
Jessica...above and beyond the call of duty as usual...now warm those those feet!
Wife and I like the interaction of going to vote, and then going for a brew and toddy at our local bar afterwards...you know, to discuss the day with the locals. Maybe in twenty years we'll vote early...lol
After supper I'm headed back to our polling place to get first hand results. I'll check in when I get back.
