Progressive Democrats Of America To Support Edwards For President
Linked to groups: Florida DFA
At approximately 9:15PM Eastern time on Wednesday, December 19, the leadership of Progressive Democrats of America announced its support of Senator John Edwards for President of the United States in a national conference call for PDA members.
While a more formal proclamation is sure to follow, now seemed the appropriate juncture to share the news with DFA given the intriguing results of our poll and the important initiative to unify the Progressive Vote.
Since Congressman Dennis Kucinich won the non-binding and unscientific PDA straw poll a few weeks ago, you may wonder why PDA leadership has made this decision. Like many of my fellow PDA supporters, I feel a very strong affinity for Dennis. As explained on the PDA call last night, Dennis has been a steadfast supporter of Progressive goals and ideals. His unwavering support of HR676 is but one example.
In the end, though, PDA leadership has decided that it must throw its support behind a candidate with a reasonable chance of winning. It is for a similar reason that PDA has decided to endorse a maximum of 10 or 12 congressional candidates this cycle. In short, PDA wishes to endorse winners but also Progressives who will keep their promise to fight for our cause once elected.
Congratulations, Senator Edwards!By the way, I just love the music of Bonnie Raitt and Jacksone Brown. Having them aboard the Edwards campaign only makes it easier to become enthusiastic.

KUCINICH TOPS PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATS POLL...Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich, whose pointed opposition to the war in Iraq and outspoken advocacy of impeachment of Vice President Cheney has echoed the sentiments of the Democratic base, continues to prevail in surveys of members and supporters of activist groups on the party's left flank.
Kucinich, who last month won the most votes in a survey conducted by Democracy for America, has now come out on top of an online poll of members of Progressive Democrats for America. Kucinich's strong showing in the PDA survey will not, in and of itself, bring the congressman any closer to the top tier of contenders in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination. But it provides him with new arguments for why his campaign matters, especially to the party activists who do the heavy lifting at the grassroots.
Out of more than 15,000 votes cast in the PDA vote, Kucinich won 6,510 votes, for 41 percent.
Former North Carolina Senator John Edwards was in second with 41.68, for 26 percent.
Then came Illinois Senator Barack Obama with 13 percent, New York Senator Hillary Clinton with 9 percent, New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson with 5 percent, Delaware Senator Joe Biden with 3 percent and Connecticut Senator Chris Dodd and former Alaska SenatoOhio Congressman Dennis Kucinich, whose pointed opposition to the war in Iraq and outspoken advocacy of impeachment have echoed the sentiments of the Democratic base, continues to r Mike Gravel with 1 percent each.
PDA's a solid group and their poll was run with great care to make sure that only members voted. As such, it's a good reflection on where particularly committed anti-war activists within the party are leaning.
It's also the product of an impressive process. As the vote approached, the PDA website featured a smart dialogue among backers of most of the candidates, which addressed issues and tactics in far blunter terms than most media discussions or the increasingly silly debates between the contenders.
Kucinich, who has worked closely with PDA since its inception in 2004, certainly had advantages with the membership. But Edwards backers were especially aggressive in arguing that he was the most electable progressive. And Clinton got solid support from Massachusetts Congressman Jim McGovern, who has been one of PDA's chief allies in the House.
PDA members tend to be concentrated in a number of large states, especially California, New York and Florida, the three states that contributed the most votes to the group's presidential poll. In the first-caucus state of Iowa and the first-primary state of New Hampshire, Kucinich topped the survey... full post: http://www.thenation.com/blogs/campaignm...
The early voting especially should reflect one's personal values and as the delegates pile up the most "electable" rises to the top. The most electable is the one that gets the most votes. I don't doubt that it is true that Edwards will get more than Kucinich, but we can let this play out a while and see.
This is a very strong field. Edwards is a progressive candidate, and may well come out on top.
Typo, re: Jackson Browne.
Thanks in advance for deleting that "e".

From David Broder in the Post today:
"Barack Obama has become a one-trick pony. But what a trick it is!
"The stump speech he has developed in the closing stages of the pre-Christmas campaign is a thing of beauty, a 40-minute oration delivered without notes that is powering his gains for the Iowa caucuses on Jan. 3 and the first primary here in New Hampshire five days later.
" . . . .
"The closing anecdote is based on an incident at a rally in Greenwood, S.C., where, on a miserable morning, with a meager crowd, a single black woman in the audience first revived Obama's spirit by shouting out encouragement and then got everyone chanting, responsively, 'Fired up!' 'Ready to go!'
"As he tells the familiar story, Obama segues from a conversational tone to a shout and explains that the chant has now become his trademark and slogan. So, he tells his listeners, 'I've got one thing to ask you. Are you FIRED UP? Are you READY TO GO? FIRED UP! READY TO GO!'
"And then, as the shouting becomes almost too loud to bear, he adds the five words that capsulize his whole message and sends the voters scrambling back into their winter coats and streaming out the door: 'Let's go change the world,' Obama says. And it sounds as if he means it.
"In every audience I have seen, there is a jolt of pure electric energy at those closing words. Tears stain some cheeks -- and some people look a little thunderstruck."

Just watched Tim Russert with Ron Paul.
Tim’s “tough” and “rigorous” questioning was only piece of cake for the man of principles. It was funny to watch completely confused Tim refusing even to realize it..., lol.
Even more Americans now should be able to realize the necessity for “our progressive Demos” to leave all changes they are talking about to Ron to implement.
Morning all!
Just inside to warm up. It is a bit cold and snowy and windy here. Church and the kid's Christmas program is postponed until next week.
The various democratic campaigns are pretty well shutting down for Christmas. But expect a rather 'spirited' campaign afterwards until the caucuses. Most of the campaigns had their holiday parties last night and there is an all campaign party being put on by the Clinton campaign tonight in Des Moines.

Some principles. He holds them dear in common with Pat Buchanan. Why support a piker like Paul when you can rally around the real thing?

I'm guessing that the push poll I received yesterday came from a pro Edwards 527 group.
These Ads are coming from groups with their own agendas. I don't think they have any of the candidates or the Democratic Party's interests in mind. These ads were a bad idea in 2004 and are a bad idea now. Somebody is making a lot of money, period.
Mainefem, I absolutely love Bonnie Rait, too. And who couldn't love Annie Lenox. I had a feeling those two (Bonnie and Jackson) were getting involved at politics when I head they played at the Boxer/Gore fundraiser the night before the Nobel announcement. And ofcourse, Annie played at his Nobel concert. They have good taste, too. :)....and I don't even need to mention Ms. Etheridge.
Sitka, great story about your waitress. I know what you mean. A nice familiar face that you've seen for so many years.
All be well.
It's time the grassroots call for the Political Hacks to be reformed. They're greedy and mean-spirted nature is going to be the end to us all.

Edwards: No Support for Outside Ads By Julie Bosman
CORALVILLE – Under pressure from Senator Barack Obama, John Edwards said on Saturday that he is asking outside groups that circumvent campaign finance regulations not to run television ads on his behalf in Iowa.
Questioned by reporters at a news conference early this afternoon in Lisbon, Iowa, Mr. Edwards declined to say specifically that the groups, known as 527’s, should refrain from running ads that benefit him, saying only that he is “against 527’s.”
But speaking to reporters later in the day, Mr. Edwards went further in criticizing the groups, one of which is an Iowa labor organization offshoot. When asked what Mr. Edwards is asking the groups to do, he replied, “Not to run the ads.”
“I do not support 527’s,” he said. “They’re part of the law I don’t have any direct control over because the law requires I stay out of it. But I would prefer that all the 527’s, not just this one, that all the 527’s, stay out of Iowa.”
Mr. Edwards’ former campaign manager, Nick Baldick, works for an outside group called Alliance for a New America that is expected to begin running ads next week. ...complete article: http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/...
Hey Kevin. If you have a chance to speak with the Governor, tell him we could use him back here to stop the Gas/Oil Drilling on our precisous protected lands and water supply. I just received a letter from our country folks after telling them their "draft" of the new ordiance should be thrown out because it opened with their obvjective being...."goal is to permit oil and gas development". WRONG GOAL. And her letter just claimed the county's cannot make their own rules. The state does. SOOOO. Tell him to get back here to stop this ridiculous loopy hole.

To date, the Alliance for a New America has raised nearly $850,000 and spent $590,000 — all of it on the radio ads. In addition to the radio campaign, the organization is planning a direct-mail program in Iowa and has not ruled out the possibility of television ads as well.
Raitt endorsed Howard, Linda. Note that she has political info listed firstly on her portal, vs. her music.

I'm shocked that PDA blew off their members' initial Kucinich votes--could be some fallout on that one.

NY1 News reports: “New York City police are moving forward on a multimillion-dollar counter-terrorism initiative, installing more than a hundred license plate readers and eventually thousands of cameras in Lower Manhattan.” Cameras will be mounted atop cop cars, photographing license plates, and the results will be sent to a database “to see, for example, if the car is stolen.”
It seems irrational, spending $106 million to catch car thieves. But then the “initiative” is billed as an adventure in “counter-terrorism,” not one to counter car thieves. Of course, there are precious few terrorists of the Osama bin Laden type on Manhattan, or anywhere else outside of the Middle East, but this matters not, as the point is to monitor the masses, not catch mythical terrorists as they exit strip clubs.
“The license plate readers are just the tip of the iceberg in what’s billed as the Lower Manhattan Security Initiative,” reports NY1 News. “We’re looking to put in, ultimately, a thousand cameras in public spaces, link it to 2,000 private sector cameras,” says Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, a former Interpol functionary who was once considered to lead the FBI.
“It’s all modeled on the so-called ring of steel in London, where cameras have helped authorities find terrorism suspects. It’s a first for the US,” but certainly not the last, as the entire country will soon become an electronic panopticon. The Ministry of Homeland Security is chipping in with taxpayer bucks to help New York become more like London, where more than 150,000 CCTV cameras snoop the populace.

“Planned Parenthood’s ‘Choice on Earth’ holiday cards are its latest assault on Christianity,” said Jim Sedlak, vice president of American life League. “By changing the word ‘peace’ to ‘choice’, Planned Parenthood is effectively implying that Mary should have considered aborting Jesus.”
American Life League’s latest video report exposes Planned Parenthood’s continued assault on Christianity. The report goes from ‘Choice on Earth’ holiday cards to Planned Parenthood’s involvement in a 1973 comic book that depicts a sacrilegious rendition of Mad Magazine’s Alfred E. Newman posing as the Blessed Virgin Mary.
“King Herod sent soldiers out to slaughter babies because he wanted to kill Jesus,” said Sedlak. “Two thousand years later, Planned Parenthood is still doing all it can to kill babies. That is what their motto ‘Choice on Earth’ really means.”
“Planned Parenthood continues to flaunt its anti-God, secular humanist agenda in its products and in our schools,” Sedlak concluded. “It is time for all Americans to stay away from this organization.”
The congressional elections in 2008 are probably more important than the presidency.
The primaries are most important. Only if good Democrats run in them, challenge bad ones, and win, will the fall elections really matter.
There still doesn't seem to be any large, organized, movement to make that happen -- still too many only see the Democrat/Republican label difference as what matters most.
Free Market News

This past year was one of the most dangerous on record. Headlines blared what many feared would happen after the Democrats took over the Congress: “New bill has a good chance of becoming the first major gun control law in more than a decade.”
That “new bill” is known as the Veterans Disarmament Act, and the battle against it has been intense, as it would disarm hundreds of thousands of military veterans who are suffering the ailments that frequently follow combat stress.
But you should know that there was only ONE MAJOR GUN LOBBY that was actively working to stop this legislation… ONLY ONE GROUP that has been fighting the bill sponsored by notorious gun grabbers like Rep. Carolyn McCarthy and Senator Chuck Schumer.
That one major lobby group is Gun Owners of America.
In April, Newsweek noted that GOA had “launched a public campaign to block the [Veterans Disarmament Act] warning that the proposal could ‘block millions of additional, honest gun owners from buying firearms.’”

To a candidate who voted them into Iraq. Anything can be overlooked when people want to believe the opposite.
Tonight, actor/director Rob Reiner hosts a celebrity-style roast for Democrat Howard Dean in New York. On Dec. 14, David Crosby, Bonnie Raitt and Phoebe Snow will perform at a San Francisco concert to raise cash for Dean's coffers. The next day, Dean heads to the L.A. Pelosi did good in NOT giving the House Intelligence Committee Chair to Jane Harman.
The right thing for the wrong reason. My understanding is that it reflected Pelosi's personal animosity toward Harman, not her awful performance on the committee.
PDA has fallen for the "electability" meme. Dennis still wins on the issues, but at least Edwards is aying the right things, and not ducking the issues like the 2 "fron-runners".
Joel Brinkley explains in today's San Francisco Chronicle why the surge has provided politicians with a fig leaf to cover their stupidity:
"Bush's so-called 'surge' strategy has paid off. And now that the president has finished patting himself on the back, he needs to pick up the phone and call former Gen. Eric Shinseki to apologize. Shinseki, of course, was the Army chief of staff just before the war. In February 2003, he told Congress that 'several hundred thousand soldiers' would be needed in keep control in Iraq.
" . . . .
"In one sense, should anyone be surprised that the troop escalation has brought results? Baghdad and New York are about the same size; each has just over 8 million residents. If the federal government gave New York 30,000 additional police officers, wouldn't crime in the city plummet?
"Maybe, said William Heffernan, a professor of criminology at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York.
"'You could get some kind of reduction,' he said, 'but not for the reasons you might think.'
" . . . .
"The Shiite government is stacking the police with loyalists and starving the Sunni militiamen. Meanwhile, the Sunnis are hatching plans to overtake Baghdad once the Americans leave. The first withdrawal is already underway - 5,000 American soldiers working in Diyala province are leaving this month and will not be replaced. Under Bush's plan, all 30,000 surge troops will be withdrawn by next summer.
"The United States will still have roughly 120,000 troops in Iraq, but in previous years that has proved insufficient to maintain control of Baghdad. The Sunni tribesmen know that. Will they turn their weapons on the government next summer - at the height of the American presidential campaign?
"Looking at Iraq as a law-enforcement dilemma, Heffernan sees what he calls a 'much greater time discount.'
"'The mullahs are playing for the long term - not like drug dealers,' he said. 'The mullahs can wait us out. That is why I am so much more pessimistic about the surge than I am about policing in New York.'"
The Threat to Civil Liberties
Taking Liberties with the Constitutionby Daniel Hellinger, Professor of Political Science,
Webster University, St. Louis
“The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home.” —James Madison
The United States has a long history of politicians curtailing civil liberties and whipping up the public’s fear of external enemies for political purposes. Fear of violence by the oppressed was present at the Founding of the Republic. The Declaration of Independence included an article accusing the King of England of having “excited domestic insurrections among us” and bringing on “the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare is an undistinguished destruction of all sexes and conditions.” An early draft condemned the slave trade not because it was morally offensive but because southerners feared slave revolts.
Of course, women, black slaves, Indians and (sometimes) property-less white males were excluded from the civil liberties guaranteed in the new Constitution. Settlers and planters regarded the violent resistance of slaves and Indians much as we today think about terrorism. Slave revolts and Indian attacks were viewed as evidence of their savagery, making it easier to dismiss their rights and justify the use of military force. Tactics included deliberately introducing smallpox-infested blankets into Indian communities, an early form of biological warfare.
The word “terrorism” was hardly used politically before the French Revolution, when it was associated with the radical Jacobans. The domestic and international politics of that era led to an early attack upon the Bill of Rights in the new United States. President John Adams, Washington’s successor, was determined to quash unfounded accusations that he was conspiring to establish a monarchy and had sent agents to England to procure mistresses for himself and the Vice President. Agents of the new revolutionary government in France were not above using bribes to induce newspapers to criticize Adams as pro-England and attack his integrity. In those early years of the Republic newspapers depended heavily on the financial patronage of officials who purchased space for official notices, and they were not hesitant to publish slanderous attacks on the reputations of their patrons’ opponents.
…the Alien Act allowed the deportation of legal, resident aliens without judicial process. This mixture of scandal and international intrigue motivated Adams in 1798 to get Congress to pass the Alien and Sedition Laws. Much like the Patriot Act of 2001, the Alien Act allowed the deportation of legal, resident aliens without judicial process. The Sedition Act allowed federal authorities to jail anyone found guilty of slandering the government. This led to the jailing of some of Adams’ opponents, mostly politicians aligned with Thomas Jefferson’s “Democratic Republicans.” The Acts were allowed to expire by the next president, Jefferson, who pardoned its victims. In 1964, the US Supreme Court finally declared that the laws had been unconstitutional.
Civil wars are hostile environments for civil and human rights, and the American case was not much different from that of “failed states” in our era. In 1861, Abraham Lincoln suspended the writ of habeas corpus, the Constitutional guarantee against indefinite detention. Defying a contrary ruling by the Supreme Court, the president arrested possibly 13,000 draft resisters and Southern sympathizers. Editors, judges, lawyers, and elected legislators were among the jailed. Several newspapers were shut down.

Paul vs Kucinich
http://www.opednews.com/maxwrite/diarypage.php?did=5286
I'm not a big Ron Paul fan. I appreciate his taking a courageous stand against the Iraq war and for a non-interventionist foreign policy to a generally hostile GOP audience, and I wholeheartedly support his defense of our civil liberties embedded in the Constitution. And the work of his supporters in outfundraising all the Republican fat cats and demonstrating the potential of grassroots organizing has been truly inspiring, going even Howard Dean one better. Coming from the left side of things, it's a matter of some embarrassment to me that the anti-war left has not rallied behind Dennis Kucinich the way the anti-war right has behind Paul.
I thoroughly enjoyed Paul's performance on Meet the Press today, parrying each of Tim Russert's attempts to find a gotcha moment with honesty and conviction -- two things Russert was obviously unpracticed in dealing with. There's the old saying about it being better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt, but that's not quite true. Russert and other self-important, bloviating TV pundits like Wolf Blitzer and Chris Matthews get paid millions of dollars to remove all doubt. What a pleasure it was to watch Paul reveal that truth for all to see.
Here's Stephen King stumping for Edwards/sKerry & Gov. Baldacci @U/Maine in fall of '04.
We're purple, so it was an important stump.
I attended that rally; and nobody was allowed to wear "flip-flops."
I'm serious. Cracked me up--nobody tells Mainers what to wear....
John quoted from Gregg Gordon, who wrote "Coming from the left side of things, it's a matter of some embarrassment to me that the anti-war left has not rallied behind Dennis Kucinich the way the anti-war right has behind Paul."
Didn't rally behind him in 2004, 2008, or both?
Report: George W. Bush's Grandfather Plotted Fascist Coup to Overthrow America
New investigation sheds light on clique of powerbrokers, including Prescott Bush, who sought to overthrow U.S. government and implement Hitlerian policies
Paul Joseph Watson
A BBC Radio 4 investigation sheds new light on a major subject that has received little historical attention, the conspiracy on behalf of a group of influential powerbrokers, led by Prescott Bush, to overthrow FDR and implement a fascist dictatorship in the U.S. based around the ideology of Mussolini and Hitler.

General Smedley Butler, author of the famous quote "war is a racket", exposed the fascist plotters but was subsequently demonized and shunned by the government and the media.
In 1933, Marine Corps Maj.-Gen. Smedley Butler was approached by a wealthy and secretive group of industrialists and bankers, including Prescott Bush the current President's grandfather, who asked him to command a 500,000 strong rogue army of veterans that would help stage a coup to topple then President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
According to the BBC , the plotters intended to impose a fascist takeover and "Adopt the policies of Hitler and Mussolini to beat the great depression."
The conspirators were operating under the umbrella of a front group called the American Liberty League, which included many families that are still household names today, including Heinz, Colgate, Birds Eye and General Motors.
Butler played along with the clique to determine who was involved but later blew the whistle and identified the ringleaders in testimony given to the House Committee on un-American Activities.
However, the Committee refused to even question any of the individuals named by Butler and his testimony was omitted from the record, leading to charges that they were involved in covering the matter up, and the majority of the media blackballed the story.
In 1936, William Dodd, the U.S. Ambassador to Germany, wrote a letter to President Roosevelt in which he stated,
"A clique of U.S. industrialists is hell-bent to bring a fascist state to supplant our democratic government and is working closely with the fascist regime in Germany and Italy. I have had plenty of opportunity in my post in Berlin to witness how close some of our American ruling families are to the Nazi regime.... A prominent executive of one of the largest corporations, told me point blank that he would be ready to take definite action to bring fascism into America if President Roosevelt continued his progressive policies. Certain American industrialists had a great deal to do with bringing fascist regimes into being in both Germany and Italy. They extended aid to help Fascism occupy the seat of power, and they are helping to keep it there. Propagandists for fascist groups try to dismiss the fascist scare. We should be aware of the symptoms. When industrialists ignore laws designed for social and economic progress they will seek recourse to a fascist state when the institutions of our government compel them to comply with the provisions."
The proven record of Prescott Bush's involvement in financing the Nazi war machine dovetails with the fact that he was part of a criminal cabal that actively sought to impose a fascist coup in America.
Prescott did not succeed but many would argue that two generations down the line the mission has all but been accomplished.
In his documentary film Martial Law , Alex Jones interviews John Buchanan, who was instrumental in uncovering the documents tying Prescott Bush to the financing of the Third Reich. Watch a clip above. The subject is also covered in Alex's upcoming film, End Game, which includes rare video of Smedley Butler's testimony.

OSKALOOSA, Iowa – With advertising dollars increasingly flowing into Iowa from outside groups just before the presidential caucuses, Sen. Barack Obama charged Saturday that one of his leading rivals is being hypocritical by denouncing such groups, while also benefiting from them.
The attention from Obama toward former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards has grown in recent days as both men compete for a large group of likely caucus-goers who remain undecided.
On Saturday, the Illinois Democrat's focus were so-called 527 groups that seek to influence the election by raising unlimited sums of money that often does not need to be reported in as timely a manner as other political committees.
"We found out today that there's an outside group spending $750,000 – just bought three-quarters of a million dollars worth of television time – and the individual who is running the group used to be John Edward's campaign manager," Obama said during a stop here. "So, you can't say yesterday, you don't believe in 'em, and today, you're having three-quarters of a million dollars being spent for you. You can't just talk the talk."
Edwards, who has raised significantly less money than Obama or Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York, said Friday that he has sought to discourage such spending on his behalf.
"The way the law exists today is you have no control," he said, according to the Associated Press. "You're not allowed by law to have contact or to coordinate with 527s. So can you discourage it? Yes, and I do."
The group Obama was talking about is called Alliance for a New America, which is being advised by Nick Baldick, a campaign manager for Edwards' 2004 presidential bid.
David Axelrod, Obama's top strategist, said the group is planning to start running ads the day after Christmas. The ad is expected to run statewide through the Jan. 3 caucuses, with especially strong spending in the television market that includes Sioux City, Iowa.
"It's a blow-out buy," Axelrod said.
Although he has not yet seen the spot, Axelrod said it does not matter whether it is an attack ad or a positive message. "Even if it is positive, it doesn't change the fundamentals," he said.
I loved Sitka's Xmas story and also Phil's b/c he gives his cows a present. Agree with Monica that Rockefeller and Harman need to retire. Mainefem wish CSPAN would tape the roast of Howard. Just want everyone to know I'm keeping up now.

Ivan wrote "Exactly the same: entirely logical absolute impotence of Demos."
This is kind of boring, but why did you support a Dean candidacy in 2004? Buchanan was on the ballot the entire time.
-----------
...lol, you know I’m (as you may guess..., lol) an atheist.
To me the inclination, the bowing to any God (even if that God is...the Dean himself..., lol) is much more boring.
First, I don't remember Buchanan on the ballot in 2004.
Second, I think, Buchanan (not, of course, to say Paul) in a sense much more honest and sincere in understanding the reality than very many "progressive" Demos.
Third, I supported Dean as very many did, because of his message. (As it turned out this message of his has been far ahead of the Demos Party ability to grasp it).
Today, I think, Demos failed to delivery not only on Dean's message but on any other they themselves promised, they, to their shame, haven't even seriously attempted. They have been late AGAIN! Why stay with them if they proved again that they are not able to align themselves with requirements of TIME, DESPITE one of them (Dean) has delivered entire platform to them.
Do you think it is just another accident....AGAIN?
Sorry, I don't think so..., IT IS THEIR POLICY..., TO TRY TO KEEP status quo for as long as they possibly can.
In contrast and to Demos disadvantage their "political opponents" from another Party have finally started to realize those “time’s” requirements. They (ever increasing number of them, thanks to Paul) turned out to be much less boring than our “progressives”. Surprisingly, what it took for them is just RETURNNG BACK to their traditional republican principles.
Ultimately, of course, it does not matter which Party to realize things first! What does matter is that those requirements have been realized by us, by "The People"....and then...it won't be boring..., lol.
